A second pumper was added in 1954 to meet demands. The 1954 Ford was manufactured by the American Fire Apparatus Co. of Battle Creek, MI. at a cost of $12,000. The truck had a 500 gmp pump and a 500 gallon tank. Upon retirement,  

the engine was sold to Limestone Fire Department.
